What are you most thankful for in your life?
The simple answer, coffee. I love my friends and I love my family, but this year coffee has been an exceptionally reliable partner in crime (sorry, mom, dad, and their new dog Pee-Wee). So, to all my lattes, iced coffees, and cappuccinos out there, your services in 2015 have been greatly appreciated. My life and my weekday 2 p.m. slumps are not the same without you.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
Without this turning into a ridiculously long list of Lani's Favorite Things, I'll just say Tom Hiddleston. More specifically, I'm thankful for the realization that Hiddleston is one of the most eye-pleasing and charismatic actors to ever grace the big screen. Internet, I'm sorry it took me so damn long. For this realization, I also have Guillermo del Toro casting the British actor in the gorgeous and gothic 'Crimson Peak' to thank. Yes, I finally saw the light (see what I did there?) and it was bathed in a hundred hues of Hiddleston. And lastly, a shoutout to all the creatives behind those dancing Drake memes.

What are you most thankful for in your life?
I'd like to change that what to a who and give a shout out to my friends and family. It's an obvious answer, but I'd feel weird not thanking the people who love me, deal with me, and support me through all of life's curveballs. You guys are simply the best. And if I knew Tina Turner personally, I'd totally have her sing this to you.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
At this very moment: Jennifer Lawrence's sarcasm, David Archuleta's Christmas album, Adriana Lima's pout, the Ellen show, 'Little Women: LA' drama, Drew Barrymore's romantic comedies, Bindi Irwin's infectious optimism, bootleg episodes of 'Rugrats' on YouTube, Missy Elliott's comeback, Matt Bomer's everything, Adele's "When We Were Young" and Beyonce. Always Beyonce.

What are you most thankful for in your life?
No clever quips here: I'm most thankful for my family. My son turned two in August, and though the twos can indeed be terrible sometimes (who knew someone so tiny could have such strong opinions?), watching him grow and learn about the world is nothing short of miraculous. He loves fire trucks and fire fighters with the passion of a thousand burning suns, and he reminds me to slow down and smell the roses. And by smell the roses, I mean take a walk to the fire station every day after work to look at the fire trucks.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
The CW! Once dismissed as the network of teenage angst, the CW is now home to many of my must-watch shows. From the delightful warmth of Jane the Virgin, to the clever camp of iZombie, to the heroics of The Flash and Arrow, the network takes risks and has reaped the rewards. And don't even get me started on The 100, which was my absolute favorite show last season. Part Battlestar Galactica, part Game of Thrones, and 100 percent fearless, this is the best show you're not watching.

What are you most thankful for in your life?
I have a daughter, so I'm bound by law to say I'm thankful for her. She's five, very cute, sings all the time, and hopefully will grow up in a world that is incrementally better than it was when I was a kid. She's also hilarious. Her most recent stroke of genius came while insulting me. "Dad your head is made out of farts!" She's bound for great things. Here's her drawing of a bat chasing a mouse.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
I'm thankful that pop culture is becoming more concerned with diversity, fair representation, and equal pay. We're still at a point where our entertainment is largely not very diverse, still guilty of perpetuating unfair stereotypes, and not paying women and people of color as well as white men. But more than ever it's part of the conversation, and hopefully it will all lead to progress that will show meaningful change.

What are you most thankful for in your life?
It's safe to say that I wouldn't be a fully functioning human being if it wasn't for my family and friends. I mean, I've forced some of these people to watch almost every reality show on Bravo with me, and they rarely complain. If that's not true love, then I don't know what is.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
Right now, my life basically revolves around Adele. She is the sun, the moon, and the stars. I've been listening to 25 on repeat and, quite frankly, it has saved me from wanting to thrust myself out of a (slowly) moving car during rush hour traffic. When Adele comes on, the rest of the world goes on mute, and I can dance along to her songs or just sit in solitude and drink a bowl of my tears. It doesn't really matter because Adele doesn't judge. She's basically a goddess.

What are you most thankful for in your life?
I've had a lot of big changes this year, and they've each improved my life in profound ways. Most importantly, for me, it's been proven that no difficult time ever stays hard as long as you're moving forward. Above all, though, the people in my life make it a beautiful ride. I couldn't be more thankful to have amazing individuals around me every day.
What are you most thankful for in pop culture?
I think the status of celebrity has gone from "demigod untouchable" to a much more realistic "admirable human being," and I love that. I also think we've reached a point where people with influence are doing charitable, helpful things because they want to, and not because it's good for image. I also have to include the way that social media has evolved; I log on to see the articles and images my friends are posting, and I think networks are becoming more a way to swap knowledge than to swap numbers.
