Chris and Liam Hemsworth have officially solidified their place as Hollywood's best brother duo.
In addition to being dystopian heroes and superheroes, it now seems they're heroes in real life — or more specifically, 32-year-old brother Chris, who took it upon himself to pay off all his parents' debt at his earliest ability.
In an interview with UK mag Independent, Liam, 25, revealed that his parents no longer had to worry about financial obligations. An English teacher and social services counselor, Chris told the two to check their bank account one day, only to reveal that he'd enabled them to live a more happy and carefree life.
"[Dad] called my brother Chris and said, ‘I don’t know how to feel,'" Liam explained.
"They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us, I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."
Liam has also taken after his compassionate parents, supporting causes like the Australian Childhood Foundation once he became prominent enough to adopt a platform.
"If you want to be a good person who adds to society, you have responsibility," he told Independent. "That is something I take very seriously."
We can all only hope to improve the lives of the people who raised us. Kudos to the Hemsworth brothers for making this dream a reality for their own family.
